Groundworker • Miami County, Ohio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundworker in Miami County, Ohio. You will work on a residential housing site. Your main tasks: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
