Press machine operator — Abakaliki

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day to day you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
