Steel fixer — Grand County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Grand County, Colorado. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
