Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in Morgan County, Alabama. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. You should have: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards The role involves knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; prepare the mise en place before each service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service.
