Backhoe operator — Dauphin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence On a typical shift you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $28 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
