Day to day you will strip, scrub and re-polish hard floors with a buffing machine; damp-wipe kitchen surfaces, hobs and microwaves; empty waste bins and replace the bin liners; spot-clean carpets and lift stains. Ideal candidate: • Fit to stand, bend and lift throughout long shifts • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred • Able to follow COSHH guidance and handle chemicals safely Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
