Trowel-trade bricklayer • Ochiltree County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Ochiltree County, Texas. The job is at a residential building site. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
