Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Gregg County, Texas. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
