Commis chef wanted in Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Douglas County, Colorado. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat On a typical shift you will keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
