Mechanical press operator — Granville County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Granville County, North Carolina. You will record output and downtime on the production sheet; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Six days a week, one day off.
