HSE officer — Karaye

Immediate opening: we are hiring a HSE officer in Karaye, Kano State. Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Part-time with flexible hours.
