Foundry operative wanted in Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lawrence County, Arkansas. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time with occasional weekends.
