Power press operator — Brown County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Brown County, Indiana. You will be based at an auto components factory. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
