We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You should have: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
