Blocklayer wanted in Murray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Murray County, Georgia. You will work on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
