Rebar worker • DeKalb County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in DeKalb County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 5+ years on the tools preferred.
