Rebar installer • Garfield County, Utah

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Garfield County, Utah. You will work on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
