Immediate opening: we are hiring a dough maker in Carson City, Nevada. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate Day-to-day duties: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
