We are recruiting: foundry worker (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Martin County, Kentucky. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Rotating shifts.
