Canteen cook — Acadia Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. Your main tasks: • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Requirements: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
