Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Sumter County, Georgia. You will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; set up and start the machine as per the job card; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet. Requirements: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
