Thermal insulation technician • Cook County, Minnesota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Cook County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy building site. The role involves install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
