Groundsman — Hertford County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Hertford County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
