Pipe lagger — Winnebago County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Winnebago County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape You should have: • Willing to travel between sites • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Working-at-height certificate an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred.
