Conventional mill operator — Greenwood County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Greenwood County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
