Rigging foreman wanted in Surry County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Surry County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
