Now hiring: we are hiring a confectioner in Gaya, Kano State. You will be based at a cake shop. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate You will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer.
