Immediate opening: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Henderson County, Illinois. The job is in a smash repair workshop. On a typical shift you will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
