Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £1,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
