Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolder in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. The role involves: • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment We offer $200 per day plus benefits.
