CO2 welder wanted in Mitchell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Mitchell County, Texas. The job is at an automobile body shop. The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Full-time with occasional weekends.
