Head baker — Spotsylvania County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The role involves monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
