Abattoir worker — Hartley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Hartley County, Texas. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
