We are recruiting: we are hiring a butcher in Granite County, Montana. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
