Brick mason — Sibley County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Sibley County, Minnesota. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge.
