Solid plasterer wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Franklin County, Vermont. The job is on a busy domestic building site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Six days a week, one day off.
