Shakeout operator • Roosevelt County, Montana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Roosevelt County, Montana. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
