Immediate opening: stitching operator (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Itasca County, Minnesota. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Performance bonus on top of base pay.
