Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Dawson County, Georgia. The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
