Vacancy available: trowel-trade bricklayer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Live Oak County, Texas. You will work on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
