Pipe lagger — Banks County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Banks County, Georgia. You will be based at an industrial plant. Day-to-day duties: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
