Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time, day shift.
