Gas commissioning technician — Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Polk County, North Carolina. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints.
