Bread baker — Del Norte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread baker in Del Norte County, California. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. On a typical shift you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; score the top of loaves before baking; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
