Painter and decorator — Cumberland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Cumberland County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy decorating firm. Your main tasks: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
