Finishing plasterer — Adams County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Adams County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
