Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Egbeda, Oyo State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
