Urgent requirement: groundskeeper (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. You will be based at a plant nursery. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On a typical shift you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
