AC installation technician • Lamar County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Requirements: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage Day to day you will install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit. 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
