Beldar — Yates County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a beldar in Yates County, New York. You will be based on a residential housing site. On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel What we are looking for: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift.
